the mark, and what it is allowed to do
This page is the brand sheet, kept live. The colour tokens here are the same ones the site is built from, so if a value changes here it changes everywhere.
- version
- v1
- primary
- Signal red
- shear angle
- 14°
Three cuts through a solid square, each leaning fourteen degrees. That angle is the whole system: it appears again in every section divider, every button fill, every hover state and every progress line on this site. Nothing on the page is angled arbitrarily.
devwalls is an offensive security practice. We break into things on purpose, write down exactly how, and stay until it is fixed.
Primary. Critical severity, live state, and the one action we want you to take on a page.
Elevated severity only. Never used for emphasis or decoration.
Resolved and verified states. A finding turns lime once we have failed to exploit it again.

The crossbar closes below sixteen pixels. Use the single-ink version at favicon sizes rather than shrinking the two-colour mark further.
- Clearspace on all sides is one quarter of the mark's width.
- The wordmark is never recoloured. The mark may take any of the three accents.
- The mark is never placed on a photograph with visible detail behind it.
- Accent colours carry severity. If a colour appears and nothing is critical, elevated or resolved, it is wrong.
- Headlines are lowercase, because the wordmark is lowercase.
